This 14mm (9/16") Square scraper features a solid carbide insert that stays sharp indefinitely. Actually the insert is used for machining steel and aluminum so you can imagine how long it stays sharp turning wood. Rotate the insert to expose a new cutting surface making it brand new each time. Here's a note from a customer: "Great tools, I own two now and I really enjoy them! Thanks much, B. Christian". Replacement carbide inserts are available. Measures 12" long overall and features a 2½ length x ½" diameter tang so you can mount your own custom handle. This tool ships with the 90 degree square carbide cutter.
